This page explains how to delete your Prayer Lock account and all of the personal data associated with it. You can delete your account directly in the app, or — if you no longer have the app installed — request deletion using the form below.
1. How to Request Deletion
Option A — Delete in the app (instant)
If you still have Prayer Lock installed, this is the fastest way and takes effect immediately:
- Open the Prayer Lock app.
- Go to the Profile (or Settings) tab.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted right away.
Using guest mode and don't have an email on your account? Use Option A before uninstalling the app — guest accounts can't be located by email, so the in-app button is the only way to remove a guest account's data.
Option B — Request deletion here
If you've already uninstalled the app, submit the form below. We will permanently delete your account and data within 30 days of receiving your request. Please use the same email address associated with your Prayer Lock account so we can locate it.
2. What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, all of the following is permanently removed from our systems. This is a hard delete and cannot be undone:

| Mood & Reflections | Mood ratings and personal prayer notes |
| Preferences | Daily prayer time, duration, notification settings, and selected apps to block |
| Onboarding Responses | Age range, spiritual state, and prayer frequency answers |
| Streaks & Statistics | Current streak, longest streak, total prayers, and last prayer date |
3. What Is Kept, and for How Long
To meet legal, security, and operational obligations, a limited amount of data may be retained after deletion:
- Personal account data: Permanently deleted within 30 days of your request (immediately when you use the in-app Delete Account button).
- Crash & diagnostic logs: Retained for up to 90 days for debugging, then deleted.
- Aggregated, anonymized statistics: Data that is no longer linked to you or your identity may be retained for analytics.
- Legally required records: Any data we are required to keep by law (for example, to prevent fraud or abuse) is retained only for as long as the law requires.
